This was at the concert at C.O.D.'s instrumental ensemble. It was a hard year, but we all worked really hard, here was one of our 15 pieces.Info first before you comment:1. The bass player was an add on. In the spirit of a chamber ensemble, we thought it would be nicer to add one more player to the team.2. In the sixth phrase my instructor asked me (piano) to drop out and return in the seventh phrase. Jul 19, 2008 - overall, it was pretty good. your tone and vibrato were pretty decent. something i noticed was there were times when it sounded like you didn't have full control over your instrument, notes seemed to pop out. also, just a few times, there were some tuning issues which (trust me) i know are hard to avoid, but really need to be cared for in this piece. these are minor things though. one last thing, for a piece like this, you should aim for a darker tone. just my personal preference. nice job!
